DC Fray, On Top Media Partner, Expand Reach Across Capitol Region

In an effort to deliver more media and entertainment news and events to the Washington, D.C., region, DC Fray and On Tap Media have joined forces to enlarge content offerings.

DC Fray, which launched in 2009, has long been in the social sports sphere, while  adding new elements like events, media content, corporate sponsorships and social sports leagues. Through its partnership with On Tap Media, DC Fray will amplify its impact as the two heighten their local focus.

That includes leveraging On Tap Media's monthly magazine, curated online content, custom lifestyle publications and events.

DC Fray and On Tap will use their partnership to introduce new programming and media opportunities to the region.

“By joining the Fray family, we’re able to take both of the core elements of our media company — editorial and events — to the next level,” stated Monica Alford, On Tap Media's managing editor.

Daily business will feel no impact from the new structure; content and events will run as usual. Robert Kinsler, founder-CEO of United Fray, an affiliate of DC Fray, will take the additional role of magazine publisher. On Tap publisher Jennifer Currie will helm a strategic client and development role.

Additionally, effective April 1, all Alexandra-based On Tap Media staff will relocate to the DC Fray offices.
