Branston Pickle Gets Cheesy In New Campaign

Branston Pickle, a brand of jarred chutney made from a variety of diced pickled vegetables  is capitalizing on Britain's obsession with cheese with the "Please the Cheese" campaign developed with mcgarrybowen London.

In one spot Claymation cheese heads run out of the woods to surround a giant jar, shouting, “Pickle me! Pickle me!” A large spoon filled with Branston Pickle sweeps over their heads while making its decision, finally settling on an excited piece of cheddar.

The cheese lies down on a cracker and gets covered in pickle, before being lifted magically in the air. The remaining pieces of cheese then freeze as they hear a loud crunch.

The media placements include 30-second TV spots running for four weeks, supported by digital and social activations, print ads, digital banners as well as event and in-store sampling.
