Partnerize Closes $9M Funding Round To Help Companies Build Partnerships

Partnerize -- known for its partner building program -- closed a $9 million investment round led by GP Bullhound, which also funded Slack, Spotify, Unity and Tradeshift.

The funding, announced Monday, brings the provider of partner marketing software to a valuation of about $127 million.

The funding will enable Partnerize to invest in its platform, further expand the company’s technology into other areas, and invest in acquiring more clients through sales and marketing as well as its global partner program, which in turn adds new partner relationships for companies.

Partnerize CMO Jim Nichols suggests that the investments show Partnerize has reached the mainstream -- meaning that the investment firm recognizes the meaning of partnerships.

“The partner platform continues to grow in all areas, including influencers, brand-to-brand partnerships, loyalty, channel partners and affiliate,” Nichols said.

This past summer, Partnerize introduced a series of features to its flagship product, an SaaS partner management platform.

The company also rebranded to reflect its strategic focus on facilitating brand partnerships of all types, including channel partnerships, loyalty partnerships, influencers, referral partnerships, brand-to-brand alliances and affiliate marketing.
