Mobile ad firm Amobee, which has a demand-side platform (DSP), on Wednesday announced the appointments of two execs to help support the company’s growth in Europe.

David Barker has been appointed senior vice president and managing director for EMEA ad solutions. Barker joins from Nokia, where he served as global head of channel advertising and director of interactive advertising.

David Long has joined Amobee as vice president of commercial EMEA. Long was formerly CEO of Skinkers.

Amobee says it is beefing up its EMEA team as it plans to expand into additional European and Middle Eastern countries, starting with Germany. Barker will work on acquiring clients from Germany, while Long will oversee business development.

Both will work from Amobee’s London office.
