Aflac Launches Promotion Tied To Grammys

Aflac's "Rock the Red Carpet" campaign is tied to the company's second year of supporting the Grammy Awards. 

The integrated campaign includes public relations outreach as well as digital and print advertising  featuring a special appearance by the Aflac Duck in the Feb. 8 issue of People magazine alongside this year's Grammy Awards ballot.

Aflac Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Gail Galuppo said the goal is "being there for our policyholders in their time of need, so we're excited to offer his fans a chance to return the favor as he prepares to rock the red carpet."

The Aflac Duck knows how to make an entrance, but to make sure he steals the scene this year, fans are invited to share their greatest red carpet do's and don'ts by following @AflacDuck on Instagram.

Whether it's advice about how to dress or the best photo poses, enter the Aflac Red Carpet Sweepstakes through Feb. 14, for a chance to win a set of wireless headphones.

To join in the conversation, consumers are asked to use #AflacRedCarpet as they engage with @AflacDuck on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram an get the duck's-eye view as he posts in real time throughout the evening. They can also follow @Aflac on YouTube to see his red carpet arrival.

In anticipation of this year's event, music fans can also listen to their favorite Grammy nominated artists on Pandora via The GRAMMY Station presented by Aflac.
