Typeform announced it has raised $35 million in Series B funding on Monday, led by General Atlantic.

The funding round also included participation from previous investors Index Ventures, Point Nine, and Connect Ventures.

The Barcelona-based data collection platform plans to utilize the new funds to expand the company’s platform, grow internationally, and to funnel resources into product development.

Founded in 2012, Typeform is a cloud-based SaaS company that allows users to create and publish surveys that collect data. The company claims its software mimics real-life conversations so the data collection process is more engaging for the customer filling out a web form.

In addition to its funding round, Typeform has also expanded its API tools to help developers create dynamic data collection forms. A MailChimp integration enables MailChimp customers to utilize Typeform to capture email addresses and streamline the CRM data collection process.
