Springbot said it would introduce a web pop-up function, enabling retailers to capture email addresses, at the International Retailer Conference and Exhibition (IRCE) on Tuesday.
The feature displays a pop-up message box on Web pages being viewed by casual visitors.
Springbot noted that data from AdRoll shows that over 90% of first-time Web site visitors do not make a purchase. The company claims that its pop-up will reach those shoppers and prompt them to take actions like signing up for discount notifications.
“Retailers can increase online conversions by capturing email addresses from first-time site visitors and re-marketing to them via email and ad retargeting,” said Erika Jolly Brookes, chief marketing officer at Springbot, in a statement.
Springbot also planned to demonstrate its automated product recommendations, ad retargeting via Adroll and Shoppable Instagram features during IRCE.
